Futora, a well-established, VC backed Fintech company is looking for a Java Team Leader.  

Futora enables banks to exponentially diversify their investment products offering and break into untapped market segments. Our technology enables financial institutes to offer bespoke financial investment products to clients of all segments. 

We are looking for a Backend Java Developer with some experience as tech-lead or team-lead and with great enthusiasm to contribute to our growth efforts. We look for a leader who is passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.

• As a Team Leader, you will work in an energetic, fast pace, highly technological environment using the latest tools and methodologies.

• You will first of all master our product and act as a strong and sharp developer.

• You will also mentor, lead and grow a team of talented and creative engineers, working in a very dynamic environment while keeping a fast pace of deliveries.

• You and your team will explore, find, implement and test solutions using the best and latest tools and frameworks.

• Customization of products, installations and integration with customer systems

• Will need to work and to interact with a variety of counterparties in tier one investment banks.

Our Tech Stack:

• Our Server Architecture is micro-services based, running in Java 8 on top of Spring Boot Framework and as Java standalone.

• We Store data using SQL Server, use jOOQ for database mapping and Hazelcast for shared cache

• We build, deploy and manage our environments using Maven and Jenkins and are currently containerizing our product.

The position is located in our Tel-Aviv office

Requirements:​

• At least 5 years of Java development experience

• Some experience in tech-lead or team management 

• Experience in tools and frameworks in the Java ecosystem such as Spring, JOOQ, Hazelcast, Groovy

• Proven experience working with SQL

• Knowledge of service architecture concepts – an advantage

• Financial understanding and/or work experience with Fintech – a significant advantage

• Ability to work under stressful conditions while meeting tight deadlines

• A brilliant person with a strong desire to learn

• Has excellent personal relations
